Creating a Food Tribute

 

 

 

Your foodie’s memorial tribute can be filled with decor details that reflect their favorite season, chefs, or ingredients.

Decorate your tables with fruits, flowers, and vintage cookbooks. Frozen flowers on raw bars look elegant.

Put a beautiful menu on each place setting, or display it on an oversized chalkboard, bistro-style.

Depending on the size of your group, a memorial honoring a true foodie can be formatted in different ways.

We will serve small nibbles and hors d’oeuvres at the Cocktail Reception. Your loved one’s favorite ingredients can be incorporated into a signature cocktail or mocktail.

Create a tea party with scones, finger sandwiches and a bar of classic teas.

You can also plan a potluck lunch in the park or a brunch at their favorite spot on the weekend.

During a tasting event, guests can book a private room in a Michelin-starred restaurant and enjoy food and wine pairings with stories, memories, and toasts

Local food truck

 

 

After a funeral or memorial service, one of our favorite things to do is to invite a local food truck to serve refreshments. Our honoree would love this. Tacos perhaps? Gastronomic cheesecake? A hand-churned ice cream topped with sprinkles? In addition to providing refreshments for the group, the food truck team generally provides everything they need. Also, it encourages mingling and story-telling, and creates an unexpectedly upbeat atmosphere.
